A quieter corner of the web

A personal publishing space built around readable content, a small interactive surface, and a deployment made entirely of static files.

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS

Start with the question.

A personal website should communicate clearly, be easy to maintain, and leave room for technical writing. It should not need a database, a server runtime, or a long list of services to do that well.

Make the choices deliberate.

  1. 01

Use Next.js App Router to generate indexable HTML for every public page at build time.

  2. 02

Keep site settings and project records in TypeScript, with article bodies in local Markdown.

  3. 03

Use a restrained visual system: warm neutral surfaces, strong typography, and one olive accent.

  4. 04

Self-host the fonts and keep interactivity focused on navigation, article discovery, and the technical demo.

A working, useful starting point.

  • A static-export website with home, work, about, notes, and contact pages.
  • Individual case studies and articles, with route-specific metadata, structured data, a sitemap, and robots directives.
  • A content workflow that keeps drafts out of public routes and deployment compatible with Cloudflare Pages.
